Lloyd and Arakawa PR with hammer in Centralia

The hammer season begins early in Washington.  Seniors Matt Lloyd (Camas, WA) and Jordan Arakawa (Capital, Olympia, WA) both threw personal bests at the Centralia Hammer Meet on March 27th.  Lloyd, who threw an impressive PR of 168’10” with the 16-pound hammer earlier in March, nearly threw 200 feet on Saturday.  His best of 195’01” was enough to beat runner-up Arakawa.  Olivia Midles (Capital, Olympia, WA) won the girls competition with a throw of 158’3″.
