Episode 4: Trust the process

On episode four of the Jack Skille Show, we are take time to highlight and underscore some of the lessons learned from our first episode, and share some stories from our own experiences around the theme of trust: trusting the process, trusting coaches, finding your own path, and how coaches can gain the trust of players.

About the show

What does it take to be the best? We look to answer that question by mining their own experiences and talking to top players, coaches, and trainers. Along the way we draw a picture of the process from all angles.

Season 1 focuses on development and what differentiates those that make it to the top from those that don’t.

The Hosts

Jack SkilleJack has played professional hockey since 2006, Jack has competed more than 650 professional games. He has previously played in the NHL for the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Colorado Avalanche, and the Vancouver Canucks. In 2019 he founded the Jack Skille Hockey Academy which helped reignite his passion in the sport and also help players and parents understand more about the sport. The Jack Skille Show was launched in 2020 to continue that project.
Martin BingisserMartin is the founder of HMMR Media. His background is as a hammer thrower, wining 10 Swiss national titles. He is currently the Swiss national coach in the hammer throw as well as a strength and conditioning coach for athletes in a variety of sports.
