Five of the top ten girls improved last week, led by the season debut of the Kraychir sisters and an improvement by Shelby Ashe (St. Pius X, Atlanta, GA). Ashe’s new best of 59’00.75″ is the second best mark this year. Junior Katie Kraychir (Twentynine Palms, CA) now has the fourth best mark with 55’08.00″. Senior Casey Kraychir (Twentynine Palms, CA) hit 55’04.00″
Kris Leverette (Marietta, GA) improved more than three feet to climb into fifth position on the boys list. Leverette was one of five improvements among the top ten. Akil Mills (Grayson, Loganville, GA), and Dustin Brode (Canfield, OH) both improved in Ohio. Max Milder (Bishop Hendricken, Warwick, RI) increased his Rhode Island leading mark and Drew Sttaskiewicz (Millard North, Omaha, NE) made his season debut in Nebraska.
