So, it’s like THAT…?

It’s been a minute since I’ve put words to paper. So here goes…

Kibwe, your designer has betrayed you.

White on black on auch small type is VERY difficult to read.
I have seen many research papers on the subject, and the
consensus is that readership is reduced by more than 50%
compared to black on white. my screen is large and bright, and
I still have difficulty in reading your posts.

Designers think of themselves as “Artists” — they don’t
care what the content of the message is, they just care
how it looks. A block of type to most designers is a design element — not information on how to do something or a
    description of something that happened.

Give your designer a good swift kick in the butt and tell
him or her to put your message in black on white instead
of the reverse — so that people can read it!

Thanks for pointing that out! I was thinking about updating the design of the site in the off season. I’ll keep that in mind for sure.

I would read blogs like this even if they were pink on green. So, no complaints here. I only wish Kibwe would write more often.
