Tennessee Indoor State Championships

Evan McCracken (Cherokee, Rogersville, TN) and Brett Neelly (Gallatin, TN) had a close battle for the win. Neelly entered the competition as the state leader and favorite, but McCracken improved his best by a foot and a half to win in the end. In the girl’s competition Savannah Marlow (Cherokee, Rogersville, TN) also improved more than a foot and nearly broke into the nation’s top ten with her new best. Tamia Crockett (Hardin Valley Academy, Knoxville, TN) and Taylor Grayson (Beech, Hendersonville, TN) also made it on the podium with impressive personal bests.
