Top Fields Finalized for New Balance Nationals
New Balance Indoor Nationals are finally here and the start lists were recently released. Both boys and girls competitions is divided into two sections: the Emerging Elite athletes on Friday and the Championship divisions on Sunday. The Championship divisions this year feature 36 boys and 47 girls. The action will take place in the final heat of the championships division with nearly all of the top throwers in attendance.
In the boy’s competition Adam Kelly (Barrington, RI) leads a field that includes 10 of the top 11 throwers in the nation this season. The girl’s competition features 6 of the top 7 throwers in the nation including a show down between new national leader Kaylee Antill (Tri-Valley, Dresden, OH) and former national leader Sabrina Gaitan (Sprayberry, Marietta, GA).
