Mt. Pleasant Performance Meet (RI) Results

In their final showdown before the Rhode Island State Championships, state leader Courtney Jacobsen (Toll Gate, Warwick, RI) captured a very close win against Alva Hicks (Classical, Providence, RI). Jacobsen’s best of 172’1″ was just 8 inches ahead of Hicks, who threw a new season’s best in the competition. The improvement also puts Hicks second in the state. Meagan Malloy (Smithfield, Esmond, RI) also had a personal best to place third.
