Improvements from Ohio headlined this week’s national performance list. A big mark from junior Nick Lane (Bowling Green, OH) moved him up three spots to third nationally in this week’s update. Nick added four feet to his season’s best on Friday, and also added two and a half feet to his personal best set last March. Fellow Ohioan Logan Kusky (Austintown Fitch, Youngstown, OH) also became the ninth thrower this season to surpass 70 feet at a meet on Saturday. There was less movement in the girl’s top ten this week, but again top movers were from Ohio. Carrol Pauley (Riverdale, Mount Blanchard, OH) strengthened her tenth place position with a small personal best, and Daija Young (Trinity, Garfield Heights, OH) also came within inches of breaking into the top ten with a season’s best.
