2/25/16 U.S. High School Weight List
The new girl’s national lists featured loads of improvement at the top this week with movement among three of the top seven throwers. Second ranked Kamryn Brinson (Marist, Atlanta, GA) solidified her position with an improvement at the University of Kentucky High School Invitational. Lysah Russell (Classical, Providence, RI) and Maddie Rabing (Lakeridge, Lake Oswego, OR) both also moved up the list with their new personal bests to win, respectively, the Rhode Island State Championships and Simplot Games. On the boy’s side, Bobby Colantonio (Barrington, RI) debuted with the heavier collegiate 35-pound weight to take the national lead. With the high school implement the biggest mover was Kirk Unland (Ferris, Spokane, WA), who improved five feet to move up to 14th in the nation.
