Simplot Games (ID) Results

With the Throw 1 Deep club not making their normal appearance at the Simplot Games this year, the field was wide open for competitors. And for the first time ever Oregon throwers swept the titles. In the girl’s competition Maddie Rabing (Lakeridge, Lake Oswego, OR) added a foot and a half to her personal best for the win. That mark also moves the senior into a tie for sixth best toss in the nation this season. Maia Garren (Logan, UT) also added just as much to her best to secure second place.

The boy’s competition was led by Hap Frketich (Newberg, OR), whose personal best led four boys over 60 feet. In his season debut Jacob Cornelio (Elk Grove, CA) added eight feet to his personal best for second place. Zach Andrew (Bishop Kelly, Boise, ID) and Bailey King (Union, Camas, WA) also threw personal bests to place third and fourth respectively.
