4/28/16 U.S. High School Hammer List
Two more boys broke 200 feet over the weekend with Nick Lane (Bowling Green, OH) making his season debut at fourth in the nation and Kirk Unland (Ferris, Spokane, WA) improving at the Moorberry Relays. Lane added more than ten feet to his best from last year, while Unland tacked on more than 25 feet to his previous best from earlier this season.
On this week’s girls list five girls improved in the nation’s top 10. Leading the way was Kamryn Brinson (Marist, Atlanta, GA) who moved up one spot to second in the nation. Shoshana Isis Trotman (Centerville, OH) also made her season debut with the fourth best mark in the US.

contested in the U.S. it is conducted in some meets at the Youth level. Girls
3k performances of 140’ and boys’ 5k performances of 160’ or more in an
officially sanctioned meet will be included in the performance list providing
the athlete is no older than 17 years old through December 31, 2016
(born no earlier than in 1999).
