Eason Invitational (WA) Results
Senior Tim Beard (Kamiak, Mukilteo, WA) was just off of his best with a throw of 199’02” to win this year’s Eason Invitational. The Eason Invitational was one of the first Washington meets to include the hammer throw more than 15 years ago and continues to be the only major invitational in the state to feature the event. Ian Frost (Mary M. Knight, Elma, WA) and Poun Phongpransansak (Kamiak, Mukilteo, WA) took advantage of the opportunity to post personal bests for second and third place. The girl’s competition was won by Kaila Butler (Terry Fox Secondary, Port Coquitlam, BC), with Riley Scocco (Shorewood Christian, WA) posting a season’s best for second place. Emilie Pedersen (Glacier Peak, Snohomish, WA) made a strong debut with a throw of 137’6″.
