2016 World Junior Championships: Women’s Finals Results
Hammer throw action at the World Junior Championships wrapped up on Saturday with the final of the women’s hammer throw. Beatrice Nedberge Llano of Norway walked away with the win. After setting posting the second best throw in the world earlier this month, Llano led for most of the competition. Australian Alexandra Hulley took silver and Suvi Koskinen of Finland edged out her teammate Krista Tervo for bronze. Unfortunately none of the Americans made it past Thursday’s qualifying round.
