12/29/16 U.S. High School Weight List
There were some big changes to the boy’s national performance list this week, including a new national leader and new national freshman class record. Jordan Geist (Knoch, Saxonburg, PA) is better known as the top prep high schooler in the nation, but he took the national lead in the weight throw too with a big toss last weekend of over 76 feet at the Hempfield Spartans Competition in Pennsylvania. Another big result came out west in Washington where Trey Knight set a new freshman class record with a throw of 68’8″ to start the season.
