Youngstown State HS Meet (OH) Results

In his first meet of the season Jake Wickey (Medina, OH) set a new personal best and national lead. The senior added nearly two feet to his personal best to outdistance Jordan Geist (Knoch, Saxonburg, PA). Geist, the previously the national leader, also set a state record and national lead in the shot put at the meet. Not to be forgotten, Brent Fairbanks (Austintown Fitch, Youngstown, OH) also broke 70 feet at the meet in his season debut. Tori McKinley (Hickory, Hermitage, PA) won the girl’s competition at the meet.
