A new meet record, facility record, and national lead highlighted this year’s Weightarama. Gianna Rao (Ponaganset, North Scituate, RI) added seven inches to her personal best to dominate the competition and win by nearly ten feet. State champion Jared Briere (Woonsocket, RI) won the boy’s competition and also set a new best with the heavier college 35-pound weight.
