New Balance Indoor Nationals (NY) Emerging Elite Results

Action started at New Balance Indoor Nationals with 63 competitors in the Emerging Elite section on Friday. The boy’s competition featured a very close battle with the top six throwers all within 10 inches of one another and the top four throwers separated by just two inches. Sophomore Bryan Hudson (Scott County, Georgetown, KY) added three feet to his best to win and three of the top four throwers reached a new personal best. Junior Javon Joyner (Norcross, GA) easily took the girl’s competition, leading from the first throw and ending the competition with a personal best of nearly four feet.
