Golden West Invitational (CA) Results
The traditional Golden West Invitational took play on Saturday in Sacramento. The hammer throw was held in coordination with the USATF Pacific Open Track and Field Championships, giving local high school throwers a chance to compete with some of the best open throwers in the area. Junior Dagne’ Buck (Whitney, Rocklin, CA) easily won the boy’s competition with a new personal best of 174’8″, while Crystal Diei (Oak Ridge, El Dorado Hills, CA) won the girl’s competition.
