New York Hammer Series Meet 7 (NJ) Results
The latest meet in the New York Hammer Series ventured down south and actually took place in neighboring New Jersey. The level of competition also stood out this time With US champion Alex Young and NCAA champion Rudy Winkler both competing to try and improve their chances of qualifying for August’s world championships. At the high school level Michael Feldman (Tottenville, Staten Island, NY) recaptured his national lead with a new personal best of 242’8″. Feldman was the national leader earlier in the season but fell a few inches behind in June. His new mark improves the national lead by nearly four feet. His brother Steven Feldman (Tottenville, Staten Island, NY) also added nearly eight feet to his personal best for second place.
