New Balance Nationals Outdoor (NC) Championship Results
After starting the Emerging Elite competition earlier this weekend, the Championship action got underway Saturday night and Sunday morning at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. National leader Samantha Kunza (Timberland, Wentzville, MO) led from start to finish to win the title in the Championship division at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. Her victory was not without some drama though, as Monique Hardy (Webster Thomas, Webster, NY) added an amazing personal best of nearly 30 feet to come within five inches of the win. Annika Kelly (Barrington, RI) capture third. In the boy’s competition Jacob Furland (Classical, Providence, RI) won by just six inches over a personal best from Max McKhann (Dana Hills, Dana Point, CA). In fact, five of the top six boys left the competition with a new personal best.
