In our second list of the indoor season there are massive changes as more and more throwers get their indoor campaign underway.
The indoor season has slowly started up and with it we are pleased to release the first national performance list of the 2023 indoor season.
With the start of a new school year, the outdoor season has come to a close. Below are the final 2022 national high school performance lists.
With less than two weeks left in the 2022 outdoor season, improvements have slowed down on the latest national performance list. This update includes two improvements in the boy’s top 20, and one in the girl’s top 20. The season’s last update will go out on September 1.
As we enter the last month of the season, there are still several improvements on the national performance list. Brian Lucianno (Somers, NY) broke into the nation’s top 10 on the boy’s list, while Katherine Powers (Hopkington, MA) was the biggest mover on the girl’s list, climbing into 11th position.
As the summer season continues, there were fewer improvements on the national lists this week. The top improver was Angela Schykerynec (Orland, CA), who hit a personal best to strengthen her third position on the girl’s list.
It’s been nearly a month since our last national list, and the improvements have been adding up. In this latest edition there are new national leaders for the boy’s and girl’s hammer throw, in addition to new leading marks with international implements as well.
Olivia Campbell (Pittsfield, IL) made her outdoor season debut and jumped into the top 10 already on this week’s girl’s national performance lists. Liam Capozza (Barrington, RI) improved for the second straight week inside the boy’s top 10 as well to highlight the boy’s lists.
We’re reaching the heart of the season and the national performance lists have so many changes each edition. This week’s boys list has six improvements among the nation’s top 10, led by a new national lead from Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan (Woonsocket, RI) at the Rhode Island State Championships. that they are hard to recognize. Jeremiah Nubbe (Rainier, WA) briefly took the national lead as well with a big personal best, before Robinson-O’Hagan regained the lead over the weekend. On the girl’s list Katelyn Peterson (Dixon, CA) moved up one spot to gain the national lead with a new personal best as well.
Senior Jeremiah Nubbe (Rainier, WA) added two feet to his best this week to improve his second position on the national list and close in on the national lead. Liam Capozza (Barrington, RI) also broke into the nation’s top 10. On the girl’s list a new state lead from Liangie Calderon (Coventry, RI) jumped her up to fifth in the nation and the top mover this week.
