With all the major championships behind us, the 2022 indoor season has come to an end. Below are the final performance lists of the season with Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan (Woonsocket, RI) and Giavonna Meeks (Northfield, Denver, CO) holding on to their national leads. 3/17/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

After a busy week with both New Balance Nationals Indoor and Nike Indoor Nationals, the national performance lists saw some major changes. With his silver medal performance at Nike meet, Michael Pinckney (HS For Construction, Ozone Park, NY) inched closer to the national lead on the boy’s list, one of three improvements among the nation’s top 10. The girl’s list saw even more changes with four improvements among the top 10, led by Kosi Umerah (IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL) improving in third position after her win at the New Balance meet.

3/10/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

It was an incredible week at the top of the national performance lists. With his win at the New England Weight Throw Championships, Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan (Woonsocket, RI) added three feet to his best, extended his national lead, broke the Rhode Island state record, and moved to 5th all-time in the country. Andrew Harmon (North Kingstown, RI) also became the eighth thrower this season to break 70 feet. On the girl’s lists, Alyssa DeRosa (Corning, Painted Post, NY) had a big personal best to break into the top ten.

3/3/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

Ariel Ammentorp (Union, Camas, WA) was the biggest mover on this week’s national performance list, jumping up to fourth position. On the boy’s side, Zane Forist (Carson City-Crystal, Carson City, MI) added to his personal best for the third straight week to continue as the highest ranked improvement.

2/24/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

After a strong season debut last week, Zane Forist (Carson City-Crystal, Carson City, MI) improved again this week to his fourth position on this week’s national performance lists the biggest mover on the national performance list this week, jumping up to fourth position with his first throw over 70 feet. On the girl’s list Olivia Campbell (Pittsfield, IL) also improved her fourth-place mark to become this week’s top mover.

2/17/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

Zane Forist (Carson City-Crystal, Carson City, MI) was the biggest mover on the national performance list this week, jumping up to fourth position with his first throw over 70 feet. On the girl’s list Brooklyn Hammons (Grant County, Dry Ridge, KY) strengthened her second position with an improvement.

2/10/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

There were lots of updates to the national performance list over the last two weeks. Leading the way was Tarik Robinson O’Hagan (Woonsocket, RI). He improved the boy’s national lead by more than one foot and moved into the top 10 all time at the Millrose Games. He was one of seven improvements among the nation’s top eight throwers. Kaylin Howey (Bellevue, OH) was jumped into the top 10 with a new personal best.

1/27/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

The national leaders stayed the same this week, but there was plenty of movement behind them. Rachel Neaves (DeerCreek, Edmond, OK) made her season debut in fifth position, with Olivia O’Connor (Hillhouse, New Haven, CT) also moving up the lists with her win at the New Balance Games. The top mover on the boy’s list was Jake Steslicki (Farmington, MI) who made his season debut inside the top 10.

1/20/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

After making her season debut atop the national performance lists last week, Giavonna Meeks (Northfield, Denver, CO) continued to improve this week. She improved her own national lead and state record by another eight inches. Meanwhile Brooklyn Hammons (Grant County, Dry Ridge, KY) made her own season debut in second position, also with a state record.

1/13/22 U.S. High School Weight Throw List

In our second update of the year Giavonna Meeks (Northfield, Denver, CO) jumped into the national lead. In her first meet of the season he launched a personal best and her first mark ever over 60 feet. She led 6 improvements amongst the girl’s top 10. The boy’s list also saw 4 top 10 improvements as the season starts getting underway.
